Ringgold has gone a perfect 4-0 against California recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Rams will square off against the Trojans at 4:30 p.m. Both come into the game bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
If Ringgold beats California with ten runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two contests with that exact score. The Rams came out on top against Uniontown by a score of 10-6 on Tuesday. The Rams haven't had any issues with the Red Raiders recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Gavin Angotti was incredible, going 2-for-4 with one home run, two runs, and one double. Ringgold is undefeated when Angotti posts two or more runs, but 3-9 otherwise. Kennedy Nash also deserves some recognition as he hit his first double of the season.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Ringgold kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That's the most hits they've posted since back in May of 2025.
Meanwhile, it may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but California ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Frazier, sneaking past 9-8.
Weston Monticelli made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over six innings while giving up just two earned (and one unearned) runs off six hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, earning one run and two stolen bases.
In other batting news, California got a massive performance out of Kaden Weston, who went 3-for-5 with five stolen bases and three runs. Those five stolen bases gave Weston a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Eli Carpenter, who went 3-for-4 with three RBI, one run, and one double.
Ringgold's record now sits at 6-9. As for California, their record is now 11-3.
Ringgold skirted past California 10-9 when the teams last played back in April of 2025. Will the Rams repeat their success, or do the Trojans have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
