Briggsdale was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat. The game between them and the Fleming Wildcats didn't end well, with the Briggsdale Falcons falling 71-55. One positive for the Falcons, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Fleming was led to victory by Dylon Monroe and Travis Johnson. Monroe went 10-for-17 en route to 22 points along with six boards and six steals, while Johnson dropped a double-double with 19 points and 11 rebounds. Johnson has become a key player for Fleming: the team is 2-1 when he posts at least 15 points, but 2-13 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Treyson Kirkwood, who posted ten points and three steals.

Briggsdale's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Fleming, they pushed their record up to 4-14 with the win, which was their third straight on the road.

Briggsdale has already played their next contest, a 61-43 victory against Kiowa on the 15th. As for Fleming, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 48-43 win against Lone Star on the 15th.
