Volleyball Recap: Burroughs Has No Trouble Against Lutheran North

Burroughs won the last time they faced Lutheran North and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Bombers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Crusaders. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bombers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

The 3-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Burroughs was: they took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-11, 25-13.

Georgia Hite paced Burroughs' offense, picking up 12 kills. Hite got some help from Kaitlyn Ahn and her 21 assists. Ries Schnuck controlled things from the service line, finishing with nine aces.

Burroughs' victory bumped their record up to 2-5. As for Lutheran North, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Burroughs wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 3-2 loss against Westminster Christian on the 11th. As for Lutheran North, they will challenge McCluer at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
