Basketball Game Preview: Mt. Vernon Rams vs. Marion Wildcats

Mt. Vernon has gone a perfect 10-0 against Marion recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mt. Vernon Rams will face off against the Marion Wildcats at 6:30 p.m. Each of these teams will be fighting to keep a win streak alive as Mt. Vernon comes in on 13 and Marion on six.

Mt. Vernon is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Tuesday. They walked away with a 47-38 victory over Effingham.

Meanwhile, it was close, but on Tuesday Marion sidestepped Civic Memorial for a 59-56 win.

Mt. Vernon's victory bumped their record up to 28-3. As for Marion, their win bumped their record up to 21-8.

Mt. Vernon was able to grind out a solid victory over Marion when the teams last played on February 6th, winning 67-58. Does Mt. Vernon have another victory up their sleeve, or will Marion turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
