Softball Recap: Vallivue Now 7-2 over Last Nine Games

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Bishop Kelly, Vallivue was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 10-4 margin over the Emmett Huskies. Considering the Falcons have won nine games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Vallivue let Addyson Aguila and Ali Knowles run wild. Aguila went a perfect 4-for-4 with four runs, two triples, and one stolen base, while Knowles went 3-for-5 with two stolen bases, four RBI, and one triple. That's the most hits Knowles has posted since back in March. Abbie Egglston was another key player, going 3-for-4 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Vallivue was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .474. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Emmett only posted a batting average of .240.

Vallivue has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Emmett, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Vallivue is set to face off against their familiar foe Nampa at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Emmett will challenge rival Bishop Kelly at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
