Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Chester). They enjoyed a cozy 71-55 win over the Tri-Valley Bears on Thursday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 67-45 back in December of 2024.

Chester has also been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.8 points per game. As for Tri-Valley, they now have a losing record at 4-5.

Chester will venture away from home to challenge Burke Catholic at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Burke Catholic knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past six matches -- so hopefully Chester likes a good challenge. As for Tri-Valley, they and Tuxedo will face off at 6:30 p.m. on Friday without much rest having both just played.
