Volleyball Recap: Forsyth Country Day Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Forsyth Country Day was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss dating back to last season. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Greensboro Day School Bengals. The Furies were not able to make up for their defeat to the Bengals from their previous meeting back in October of 2024.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Forsyth Country Day sadly dropped the once that decided the match. The final score came out to 25-18, 19-25, 29-27, 9-25, 15-10.

Forsyth Country Day's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Greensboro Day School, the win got them back to even at 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Forsyth Country Day is headed away from home for the first time to challenge Wesleyan Christian Academy at 5:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Greensboro Day School, they will face off against Asheville School (Independent) at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
