Volleyball Recap: South Anchorage Picks Up 21st Consecutive Win

South Anchorage had already won 20 in a row and they went ahead and made it 21 on Friday. They came out on top against the Soldotna Stars by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 2-0 back in September.

Indy Kmet paced South Anchorage's offense, picking up ten kills. Kmet got some help from Ellie Kleven and her 17 assists. Kleven was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

South Anchorage's win bumped their record up to 31-3. As for Soldotna, their loss dropped their record down to 21-13.

Coincidentally, South Anchorage and Soldotna will both be playing Kenai Central the next time they take the court. The Wolverines will head out to face the Kardinals at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Stars will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
