Soccer Recap: Thatcher Falls Short of Catalina in the Playoffs

Thatcher and Catalina squared off in some playoff action on Saturday, but Thatcher had to settle for second. They came up short against the Catalina Trojans, falling 4-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trojans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-1 back in January.

Thatcher's goal came courtesy of Blake French, which was the first he's scored this season.

Thatcher's defeat dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Catalina, they are on a roll lately: they've won nine of their last ten matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 15-5 record this season.

Thatcher does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Catalina, they have already played their next game, a 3-1 loss against Gilbert Christian on the 18th.
