Soccer Recap: Wilson Christian Academy Comes Up Short

Wilson Christian Academy's game on Friday was all tied up 2-2 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Wake Christian Academy Bulldogs. Wilson Christian Academy haven't had much luck with Wake Christian Academy recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

Maddie Reynell and Brylan Harris scored all three of Wilson Christian Academy's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 24 goals.

Wilson Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 4-3. As for Wake Christian Academy, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 3-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Wilson Christian Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wilmington Christian Academy at 5:00 p.m. on April 7. Wilmington Christian Academy will roll in looking for their fifth straight win, something Wilson Christian Academy surely won't give up without a fight. As for Wake Christian Academy, they will square off against Cary Christian at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
