The Nyack Red Hawks are taking a road trip to take on the Ardsley Panthers at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. Nyack is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.8 runs per game this season.

Nyack came into their game on Thursday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 16-0 to North Rockland. The matchup marked the first time this year in which the Red Hawks were not able to get on the board.

Meanwhile, Ardsley entered their tilt with John Jay last Wednesday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 7-2.

Ardsley pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Nyack, their defeat was their first of the season and makes their record 5-1.

Nyack beat Ardsley 3-0 in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Will the Red Hawks repeat their success, or do the Panthers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
