Basketball Game Preview: Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights vs. Southwood Cowboys

The Woodlawn-Shreveport Knights will head out to challenge the Southwood Cowboys at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Last Tuesday, Woodlawn-Shreveport took a blow against Northwood, falling 66-34. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, it's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 71-29, which was the final score in Southwood's tilt against Bossier on Tuesday. The defeat continues a trend for the Cowboys in their matchups with the Bearkats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Southwood's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Woodlawn-Shreveport, their defeat dropped their record down to 11-19.
