Providence won the last time they faced Ballantyne Ridge and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wolves. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Panthers.

One reason for the win was Providence's just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-18, 25-11.

Niamh Mahon paced Providence's offense, picking up eight kills. Mahon got some help from Ellie Rinehardt and her 11 assists. Mahon was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Providence's win bumped their record up to 9-10. As for Ballantyne Ridge, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-15.
