Basketball Recap: Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central Comes Up Short

Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central won a close one the last time they played, but unfortunately they suffered a serious change of fortune on Friday. They came up short against the Lake Placid Bombers, falling 61-36. The loss continues a trend for the Orange in their matchups with the Bombers: they've now lost seven in a row.

It was another big night for Seb Cecunjanin, who went 6 of 7 from beyond the arc en route to 37 points and seven boards for Lake Placid. That makes it 11 consecutive games in which Cecunjanin has scored at least a third of Lake Placid's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Caleb Wylie, who went 5 for 12 on his way to 11 points.

Indian Lake Central/Long Lake Central now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lake Placid, their victory ended a nine-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 1-10.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games.
