Baseball Game Preview: Fredonia Hillbillies vs. Frontier Falcons

The Fredonia Hillbillies are taking a road trip to challenge the Frontier Falcons at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Fredonia will be strutting in after a victory while Frontier will be coming in after a loss.

Fredonia was handed a 11-run defeat in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They won by a run and slipped past Pioneer 7-6. The win continues a trend for the Hillbillies in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won three in a row.

Meanwhile, Frontier was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a 4-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of Orchard Park.

Robby Kibler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: he surrendered four earned runs on seven hits.

The victory got Fredonia back to even at 3-3. As for Frontier, they now have a losing record of 3-4.
