Denmark-Olar came tearing into Friday's contest with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 41 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed past the Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence Jaguars to the tune of 69-19. The Vikings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 13 matches by 22 points or more this season.

Denmark-Olar got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kalen Mayes out in front who posted 16 points and three steals. Mayes is crushing it when it comes to steals: she's grabbed at least two every time she's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Amoria Wright, who put up 12 points and five steals.

Denmark-Olar pushed their record up to 19-4 with the victory, which was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 20.1 points over those games. As for Ridgeland Secondary Academy Of Excellence, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.
