Soccer Recap: Vandalia Christian Takes a Loss

Vandalia Christian was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Liberty Christian Patriots. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Liberty Christian this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-0 back in August.

Vandalia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 2-12-1. As for Liberty Christian, their win bumped their record up to 4-7.

Looking ahead, Vandalia Christian will venture away from home to square off against Faith Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Liberty Christian, they didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 9-2 defeat against Alamance Christian on the 10th.
