Baseball Recap: Archbishop Shaw Comes Up Short

Archbishop Shaw was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the De La Salle Cavalier. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last five times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Dalton Davidson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while going 2-for-3. Another player making a difference was Hayden Percle, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 1-for-3.

Archbishop Shaw's defeat dropped their record down to 11-15. As for De La Salle, they pushed their record up to 14-11 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Archbishop Shaw will challenge Belle Chasse at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. De La Salle has already played their next matchup (against Wright), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
