Softball Recap: Lincoln Finds Home Field Redemption Against East Fairmont

Lincoln's found some homefield redemption this week after a overtime loss to Doddridge County on Thursday. Lincoln walked away with a 13-10 victory over the East Fairmont Bees. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Bees: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Aspen Dyer, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three stolen bases, and three runs. That home run marked the first that she launched this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Addie Moore, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3.

Lincoln hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as East Fairmont struck out 11 times.
