Basketball Recap: Washington Comes Up Short

Washington lost against Mardela back in January and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Jaguars came up short against the Warriors, falling 46-24.

Despite the loss, Washington saw an underclassman step up: sophomore L'ndyn Corbin posted 13 points. That was a full 54.2% of the Jaguars' points, marking the fourth time in a row Corbin has earned more than a third of the team's points.

Washington's defeat dropped their record down to 1-3-1. As for Mardela, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-1.

Washington didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 77-26 loss against Bennett on the 18th. As for Mardela, they have also already played their next game, a 37-20 victory against Crisfield on the 18th.
