Baseball Game Preview: Serrano Diamondbacks vs. Burroughs Burros

For the second straight game, Serrano will face off against Burroughs. The Diamondbacks will face off against the Burros at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. The squads are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Serrano has struggled recently with ten losses in a row, while Burroughs will arrive with six straight victories.

Serrano came up short against Burroughs on Wednesday, falling 16-6.

For Burroughs' part, Kanon Schiller made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. Schiller has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also big at the plate, going 2-for-5 with two stolen bases, three RBI, and two runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in February.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Friday. Serrano hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.6 home runs per game. However, it's not like Burroughs struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.7 home runs.
