Soccer Recap: Sterling Takes a Loss

If Sterling was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Oregon on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Golden Warriors took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Richwoods Knights on Saturday.

Sterling's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Richwoods, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Sterling wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, an 11-1 victory against Princeton on the 30th. As for Richwoods, they have also already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against East Moline United on the 30th.
