Basketball Recap: Jamie Johnson and Kynnedee Bryce Secure Win for Fort Thomas + How To Watch

Fort Thomas won the last time they faced Baboquivari and things went their way on Friday too. The Apaches strolled past the Warriors with points to spare, taking the game 47-30. The final result isn't all that surprising considering the Apaches' considerable advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 23rd, while the Warriors are ranked 110th).

Fort Thomas was led to victory by Kynnedee Bryce and Jamie Johnson. Bryce dropped a double-double with 11 points and 11 boards, while Johnson posted six points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Bryce continues to improve, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Leilynn Wesley, who scored seven points.

Fort Thomas smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 25 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds every time they've taken the court this season.

Fort Thomas' record is now 3-1. As for Baboquivari, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-2.
