Basketball Recap: Attica Takes a Loss

Attica lost against Pretty Prairie back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. Attica lost 62-37 to Pretty Prairie. Attica has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

When it comes to explaining why Attica lost, don't look at Carter Swingle. Despite the final result, he went 10-for-16 en route to 23 points and eight rebounds. What's more, Swingle also posted a 63% shooting accuracy, which is the highest he's achieved since back in February of 2024. Another player making a difference was Mac Harnden, who posted 11 points.

Attica's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Pretty Prairie, they are on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 13 games, which provided a nice bump to their 14-5 record this season.

Coming up, Attica will challenge Stafford at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Pretty Prairie, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Cunningham at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
