Baseball Recap: Tooele Takes a Loss

Tooele was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 15th straight loss. They lost 17-6 to the Bear River Bears. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bears this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 16-1 on Monday.

Tooele saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Higgins, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI. Kai Howard was another, going 1-for-2 with two RBI and one run.

Tooele's defeat dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Bear River, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-6 record this season.
