Basketball Recap: Ashland Takes a Loss

Ashland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their 15th straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Easton Bears and fell 87-18. The matchup marked the Hornets' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Ashland's loss dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Easton, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Ashland will be home for the holidays to greet Southern Aroostook at 2:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Easton, they will head out to face off against East Grand at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Easton's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three contests.
