Football Recap: Kamiak Takes a Loss

Kamiak lost against Glacier Peak back in November of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Knights had to suffer through a 52-9 loss at the hands of the Grizzlies. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington football rankings (they are ranked 171st, while the Grizzlies are ranked 33rd).

Kamiak didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Keeton Bowman and Amare Payton.

This is the second loss in a row for Kamiak and nudges their season record down to 2-7. As for Glacier Peak, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 8-1.

Kamiak didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 6-3 win against Jackson on the 1st. As for Glacier Peak, they will face off against Tahoma at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
