After flying high against Parkway North last Wednesday, Fort Zumwalt South came back down to earth. The Fort Zumwalt South Bulldogs took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hannibal Pirates on Friday. The Bulldogs haven't had much luck with the Pirates recently, as the team's come up short the last four times they've met.
The loss didn't mean the game wasn't competitive: Hannibal scored at least 18 points in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-19, 24-26, 25-19, 25-18.
