Volleyball Recap: Hayward Comes Up Short

Hayward lost against New Richmond on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Hurricanes took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers.

The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-9.

Hayward's loss dropped their record down to 3-3. As for New Richmond, they pushed their record up to 3-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Hayward will face off against Prairie Farm at 9:00 a.m. on Friday. As for New Richmond, they will take on Rice Lake at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
