Volleyball Recap: Golden Valley Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Golden Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Foothill Trojans. The Bulldogs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Trojans earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Despite the loss, Golden Valley still got an impressive performance from Sofia Amaya, who had 20 digs and one assist. Amaya has been hot recently, having posted 16 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Golden Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 13-15-1. As for Foothill, their victory ended a six-match drought at home and bumped them up to 4-18-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Golden Valley is set to challenge their familiar foe Del Oro at 6:15 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Foothill will face off against rival Mira Monte at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
