Basketball Recap: Douglas County Takes a Loss

Douglas County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They took a hard 83-64 fall against the New Manchester Jaguar. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 77-64 last Saturday.

Douglas County's defeat dropped their record down to 6-16. As for New Manchester, the win was the sixth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 18-4.

Douglas County will head out to take on Carrollton at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas County is facing Carrollton at the right time seeing as Carrollton is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for New Manchester, they will host South Paulding at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. One thing working in New Manchester's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last 21 matchups.
