Volleyball Recap: Omaha Christian Comes Up Short

Omaha Christian lost against Cornerstone Christian School back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Guardians came up short against the Cougars, falling 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-16.

Ruby Colling paced Omaha Christian's offense, picking up five kills. Colling got some help from Iahna Hendrick and her nine assists. Colling was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Omaha Christian has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season. As for Cornerstone Christian School, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-4.

Omaha Christian didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Parkview Christian on the 20th. As for Cornerstone Christian School, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Gross Catholic on the 20th.
