Basketball Recap: Catoosa Takes a Loss

Catoosa was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 66-64 heartbreaker at the hands of the Kiefer Trojans. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (60), the Indians still had to take the loss.

Catoosa's defeat dropped their record down to 11-3. As for Kiefer, their win bumped their record up to 13-3.

Catoosa and Kiefer should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Oklahoma Rankings. Catoosa will challenge Locust Grove at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday up 238 places (50 vs. 288). Similarly, Kiefer (ranked 72nd) will meet Sperry (ranked 460th) at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
