De La Salle won the last time they faced Fontainebleau and things went their way on Saturday too. The De La Salle Cavalier skirted past the Fontainebleau Bulldogs 5-3.
Troy Jones looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits.
At the plate, Karson Robichaux was excellent, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 1-for-3. He also brought in three RBI, marking his first of the season.
De La Salle now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Fontainebleau, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 3-1.
Looking ahead, De La Salle is taking a road trip to face off against Chalmette at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Fontainebleau, they will be playing at home against Hammond at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
