Plainview is 9-1 against Tascosa since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. Plainview will take on Tascosa at 4:00 p.m. Plainview has given up an average of 8.6 runs per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Plainview's last matchup with Lubbock could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Tuesday. Plainview came up short against Lubbock, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly ten runs.

Jakhai Gomez was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run.

Meanwhile, Tascosa earned an 8-4 victory over Coronado on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Rebels.

Christmas Morris spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and one unearned) runs on six hits. What's more, she gave up only zero walks, the fewest she's had since back in February.

At the plate, the team relied heavily on Kassidy Langeland, who scored two runs and stole three bases while going 3-for-4. Those three hits gave her a new career-high. Tinslee Mena was another key player, going 1-for-2 with five RBI.

Plainview has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season. Tascosa's record is now 15-16.

Plainview might still be hurting after the 9-1 loss they got from Tascosa in their previous meeting back in February. Can Plainview avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
