Basketball Recap: North Garland Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for North Garland, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Tuesday. They walked away with an 80-72 win over the South Garland Titans on Friday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 68-56 back in December of 2024.

North Garland has also been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a massive bump to their 10-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.5 points per game. As for South Garland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-23.

North Garland has already played their next game (against Naaman Forest), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. South Garland will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sachse at 7:30 p.m. South Garland has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
