Basketball Recap: Window Rock Fighting Scouts vs. Monument Valley Mustangs
Window Rock hadn't done well against Monument Valley recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Window Rock Fighting Scouts pulled ahead with a 54-53 photo finish over the Monument Valley Mustangs. This was a revenge game for the Fighting Scouts: when they faced off against the Mustangs two weeks ago, they had to take a 58-53 loss.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Window Rock to victory, but perhaps none more so than Jaylen Brown, who posted eight points along with eight assists and eight rebounds. Brown is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last eight games he's played. Xavier Young was another key player, going 5 for 11 on his way to 14 points.
