Preview: Boothbay Seahawks vs. Richmond Bobcats
The Boothbay Seahawks will head out on the road to challenge the Richmond Bobcats at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Boothbay is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
Boothbay posted their closest win yet this season on Thursday. They had just enough and edged Telstar out 40-38.
Boothbay's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Finn Harkins, who scored 22 points along with six rebounds and two steals. The team also got some help courtesy of Luke Morley, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Richmond put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. Everything went their way against Carrabec as Richmond made off with a 62-40 win. Richmond has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six contests by 22 points or more this season.
Boothbay's victory bumped their record up to 3-9. As for Richmond, their victory bumped their record up to 10-0.
Boothbay came up short against Richmond in their previous matchup back in February of 2023, falling 60-54. Can Boothbay avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
