Basketball Game Preview: Proctor Rails vs. Hermantown Hawks

Proctor is 2-8 against Hermantown since December of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Proctor Rails will be playing in front of their home fans against the Hermantown Hawks at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Thursday, Proctor came up short against Grand Rapids and fell 65-58. The Rails have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, Hermantown was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 75-67 to Columbia Heights. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Friday (56), the Hawks still had to take the loss.

Hermantown's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Proctor, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-2.

Proctor was able to grind out a solid victory over Hermantown when the teams last played back in November, winning 78-66. Will Proctor repeat their success, or does Hermantown have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
