Basketball Recap: Miami Springs Comes Up Short

Miami Springs was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They had to suffer through a 81-48 loss at the hands of the Coral Park Rams. While losing is never fun, the Golden Hawks can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 611th, while the Rams are ranked 299th).

Miami Springs' defeat dropped their record down to 4-6. As for Coral Park, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

Miami Springs won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Edison at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Coral Park, they will also get right back to it: they'll take on Plantation at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
