The Vallivue Falcons will be playing at home against the Blackfoot Broncos at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
On Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Vallivue beat Nampa 22-17. The victory continues a trend for the Falcons in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Onix Carson continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 169 yards and two TDs while picking up 7.3 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 108.4 rushing yards per game.
Vallivue didn't let much get past them through the air: they limited Nampa to a completion percentage of just 46.7%. That dominant aerial defense primarily came from three players: Isreal Pina, Gavin Hamre, and Damian Holguin, who each logged two passes deflected. Vallivue is a perfect 3-0 when they limit the passing game like that.
Vallivue's defense didn't let Dominick Almaraz, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for four sacks. Evert Eells refused to say out of the backfield, picking up 1.5 sacks all by himself.
Meanwhile, Blackfoot didn't have too much trouble with Shelley on Friday as they won 39-21. The Broncos pushed the score to 33-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Russets cut but never quite recovered from.
Blackfoot's win came from a few key players Vallivue will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Austin Arave, who threw for 141 yards and three touchdowns while completing 85.7% of his passes, and also punched in one score on the ground. Ledger Baldwin was in the mix as well, providing Blackfoot with two TDs.
Vallivue now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Blackfoot, their record now sits at 6-3.
Friday's game might be decided on the ground. Vallivue has been excellent on the ground this season, having averaged 190.7 rushing yards per game. However, it's not like Blackfoot struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 185.6 rushing yards. There's a good chance Friday's contest turns into a tough fight on the ground.
