Softball Recap: Albert Gallatin Colonials vs. Connellsville Falcons

Albert Gallatin extended their losing streak to five on Thursday, dropping their season record down to 1-6 in the process. They came up short against the Connellsville Falcons, falling 23-2. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Falcons this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 11-4 on Wednesday.

As for Connellsville, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3. The result was nothing new for the Falcons, who have now won seven matchups by seven runs or more so far this season.

For Connellsville's part, Kendal King made a big impact no matter where she played. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. King was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of her plate appearances with two runs and one RBI.

In other batting news, Connellsville got a massive performance out of Molly Greenawalt, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and one double. As for Connellsville, they will venture away from home to challenge Trinity at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
