Baseball Game Preview: Milford Tigers vs. Beaver Beavers

For the second straight game, Milford will face off against Beaver. The Tigers will challenge the Beavers at 3:30 p.m. on Friday. The teams are rolling into the game with opposing streaks: Milford has struggled recently with three defeats in a row, while Beaver will arrive with four straight wins.

On Tuesday, Milford came up short against Beaver and fell 5-2.

Sadler Barnes put in work while hitting and pitching. He tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Barnes was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Barnes wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Kilo Tsosie, who got on base in all three of his plate appearances with one run.

Beaver pushed their record up to 18-3 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Milford, their loss dropped their record down to 14-10.
