Soccer Game Preview: North Montgomery vs. Beech Grove

The North Montgomery Chargin' Chargers will head out to square off against the Beech Grove Hornets at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

North Montgomery is headed into Thursday's contest hungry for a win as their strong season has now been derailed by two straight losses. They came up short against Faith Christian on Monday, falling 9-0. While losing is never fun, North Montgomery can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Indiana soccer rankings (they are ranked 136th, while Faith Christian are ranked 39th).

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Beech Grove's offense. They lost 9-0 to Tri-West Hendricks on Monday. The defeat continues a trend for Beech Grove in their meetings with Tri-West Hendricks: they've now lost four in a row.
