Basketball Game Preview: Kellogg Wildcats vs. Timberlake Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as the Wildcats challenge the Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.

Last Saturday, Kellogg didn't have quite enough to beat Priest River and fell 51-48. The defeat continues a trend for the Wildcats in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now lost three in a row.

Meanwhile, Timberlake was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were outmatched by Bonners Ferry and fell 78-35. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Idaho basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Badgers are ranked third).

Kellogg's defeat dropped their record down to 10-8. As for Timberlake, their loss dropped their record down to 8-10.
