Volleyball Recap: Baker Comes Up Short

Baker was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Heppner Mustangs. The Bulldogs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2018.

Baker's loss dropped their record down to 3-11. As for Heppner, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season.

Baker wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Powder Valley on the 13th. As for Heppner, they will square off against Weston-McEwen at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
