A well-balanced attack led Milton-Union over Dixie in every quarter on their way to victory on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Greyhounds out of the water with a 62-29 final score. With the Bulldogs ahead 40-17 at the half, the game was all but over already.

Milton-Union's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Michaela Firks, who posted 17 points along with seven rebounds and five assists. The matchup was Firks' third in a row with at least 17 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kate Copp, who went 5-for-9 en route to 16 points.

Milton-Union smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in 13 consecutive contests dating back to last season.

Milton-Union's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Dixie, they dropped their record down to 2-2 with the loss, which was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season.
