Salem won the last time they faced Pulaski County and things went their way on Friday too. The Spartans put the hurt on the Cougars with a sharp 6-2 victory. The result was nothing new for Salem, who have now won five contests by four goals or more so far this season.

They hit Pulaski County with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Logan Lavinder (3), Anthony Rugama (2), and Elijah Clark.

The win made it two in a row for Salem and bumps their season record up to 6-4. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 12 goals over those two games. As for Pulaski County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Salem and Pulaski County will both be playing Cave Spring the next time they take the pitch. The Cougars will head out to face the Knights at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Spartans will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
