After flying high against Santee last Thursday, Manual Arts came back down to earth. The Manual Arts Toilers took a hard 39-20 fall against the Dr. Maya Angelou Community Phoenix on Friday. The Toilers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Phoenix apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2021.
Adrian Mendoza had a dynamite game for Dr. Maya Angelou Community, throwing for 330 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 13.2 yards per attempt.
