Scottsbluff is a perfect 10-0 against Gering since April of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Bearcats will look to defend their home pitch against the Bulldogs at 5:00 p.m. Scottsbluff's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for three straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Things were looking good for Scottsbluff after they put the first goal on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They fell just short of Campbell County by a score of 2-1. While losing is never fun, Scottsbluff can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' soccer rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 26th in Nebraska, while Campbell County are ranked third in Wyoming).

Scottsbluff's goal came courtesy of Abdul Jallow, who's now up to five this season.

Meanwhile, Gering kept a clean sheet against Douglas on Tuesday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Bearcats, sneaking past 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Gering were the better team in the second half.

Gering picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 2-7. As for Scottsbluff, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-5.

Scottsbluff got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in April of 2025 against Gering by a conclusive 8-0 score. Do the Bearcats have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Bulldogs turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
